DAY 1 : MARRAKECH – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – KASBAH AIT BEN HADOU – DADES VALLEY
A shared budget Desert Tour From Marrakech starts, early in the morning from Marrakech into the Atlas Mountains through small suburban towns. During the tour, we will be able to take photos and enjoy the scenery, stretch our legs and drink a cup of coffee.
After passing through the famous Tizi Ntichka pass, we arrive at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, today’s first major stop for sightseeing. Ait Ben Haddou, the Berber fortified village in which UNESCO has listed a world heritage site, has served as the setting for some of the most famous Hollywood movies, such as Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.
Across the river separating the Kasbah from the main road, you can explore the village at your leisure. Tour guides are available onsite. A leisurely lunch should be taken at one of the local cafes before continuing to Dades valley driving past Ouarzazate, Skoura, Klaa Mgouna, the capital of the valley of the roses, and home to artisanal distillation of rose water.
After arriving at Boumalne Dades, follow Dades River on a tiny road that passes by different fortified Kasbahs on the side of the road to Dades Canyons. The hotel will be open late in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight will be served at your Dades hotel.

DAY 2 : DADES VALLEY – TINGHIR – MERZOUGA – SAHARA DESERT (4H00 DRIVE)
After breakfast, we will drive along the 1001 Kasbahs valley to Tighir, where we will have time to explore the oasis. and stop for a walk under the shade of palm trees in the oasis of Todgha before continuing to the Todgha gorges.
Lunch in a local café, with few moments at leisure to enjoy the huge cliffs, after we reach the Rissani early in the afternoon.” Rissani is famous for its date market and is the gateway to historic trade caravans that crossed the Sahara desert to Tomboktou” A short stop will be followed by a drive into the Merzouga desert countryside.
Once you arrive at Palais De Dunes lodge, feel free to swim at their freshening pool after getting ready for your sunset desert trek.
With the sunset on the horizon to blend in, walk through the sand dunes on camels, and you’ll be surrounded by brilliant colors. A Moroccan dinner will be served under the stars and next to the campfire before darkness descends. Late at night, you will be entertained by your nomad hosts with their drums. DAY 3 : MERZOUGA – OUARZAZATE – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH (9H00 DRIVE)
Get up early in the morning and head out to the dunes of Erg Chebbi for a camel trek through them, then arrive at the camp for breakfast, showers, and perhaps a quick swim at the pool, if time permits.
Return to Ouarzazate in the driver’s vehicle.
Then we continue on through the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech in the afternoon after some time at leisure for lunch.
