Visit the village of Ait Benhaddou (where Star Wars was filmed). The fortified village of Ait Benhaddou has been classified by UNESCO as one of the world’s cultural treasures. The village, inhabited only by five families, is currently undergoing restoration work designed to encourage more residents.
Follow the route to Ouarzazate, the starting point of the Sahara desert. Taourirt Kasbah is a must-see. This kasbah is considered one of Morocco’s most beautiful, located directly on the road into the Sahara desert, on the edge of the town.
