TERMS & CONDITIONS

Bookings:

When you book a tour with Marrakech Sights LLC (referred to in these terms as “we” or “us”), you accept these conditions on behalf of yourself and any other persons using our services pursuant to a booking made by you.

Payments & Booking Procedures:

The itinerary and price will be quoted once you have agreed upon them. we will provide you with a detailed itinerary and an invoice with payment details. After receiving the preliminary 25% deposit on your invoice, we will confirm the booking. Payments can be made via PayPal, Visa, Master Card, and bank transfer. 

Payment timing is as follows:

  • 25%: Requires an initial deposit
  • Payment of the remaining balance to our staff can be made locally:

Day trips, tours, and activities in the desert:

  • We accept cash payments in Euros, US Dollars, British Pounds, or Moroccan Dirhams.
  • In case of onsite credit card payments or PayPal payments prior to departure, an additional 5% processing fee will be charged.

Sharing group tours and activities in the desert:

  • The remaining balance needs to be paid in Euros, USD, GBP, or Moroccan Dirhams prior to the departure of the tour.
  • The 20% VAT + 5% processing fees will apply if you choose to pay by credit card locally or via PayPal.

Booking changes:

We will make every effort to accommodate your reservation without additional charge. You should be aware that traveling within 15 days of your trip’s start date may not be feasible. Any changes must be requested in writing and we must receive them as quickly as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you so that no extra charge applies, but we cannot ensure it. No matter what the reason, if you cannot adjust your booking, you can move forward with your originally booked arrangements, or you may cancel and pay the cancellation fees as stated below.

Policies on Cancellations:

If you need to cancel your travel arrangements, please let us know as soon as possible in writing. This cancellation charge is dependent upon the number of days we have received written cancellation notice prior to the start of your travel. 

In case you cancel:

Marrakech Sights Private Desert tours:

  • more than 16 days: Full deposit refunded without additional fees
  • The first deposit will be forfeited if canceled 4 to 15 days in advance.
  • A full tour fee is charged if you cancel within 3 days of the tour.

Marrakech Sights Shared Desert Tours:

  • more than 16 days: Full deposit refunded without additional fees
  • The first deposit will be forfeited if canceled 4 to 15 days in advance.
  • Less than 3 days: Full tour fee

Marrakech Sights Private day trips & activities:

  • more than 16 days: Full deposit refunded without additional fees
  • The first deposit will be forfeited if canceled 4 to 15 days in advance.
  • less than 3 days: Full day trip/activity fee 

Marrakech Sights Private day trips & activities:

  • more than 16 days: Full deposit refunded without additional fees
  • The first deposit will be forfeited if canceled 4 to 15 days in advance.
  • less than 2 days: Full day trip/activity fee

Circumstances Unforeseen:

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel your tour or trip. Any amount you have already paid to us, including your deposit, will be refunded, but you are not entitled to additional compensation. Among the not-foreseen circumstances include natural disasters, wars, terrorist threats, fires, adverse weather conditions, as well as others.

Any special requests:

You must inform us in writing of any special requirements (dietary, medical, wheelchair assistance, etc.) before booking. In order to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for you, we will pass the information onto our vendor partners. Before booking your trip, we will advise you in writing if there are special requests we are unable to fulfill. While making the reservation, please let us know of any preferences you may have (hotel locations, bed configurations, etc.) and we will do our best to accommodate all your requests. If such a request is not fulfilled, there will be no compensation.

Children’s policy:

For the comfort of our guests on shared desert tours and day trips, children under 12 are not permitted. However, they are welcome to participate in our half-day shared activities ( Camel ride and quad biking ).

If you hide your child’s age during the booking process and don’t show up on a shared tour, we reserve the right to deny you service.

Family desert tours and day trips will be very enjoyable for kids and their families.

Insurance:

No insurance is provided by us. Getting the required travel insurance is your full responsibility. If you travel without travel insurance, you may be liable for illnesses, cancellations, lost baggage, delays, and others.

We are responsible:

If any part of your travel arrangements are not as per your booking and are of a low standard, we will accept liability. Except in cases where our behavior or the behavior of our vendor partners was the cause of the delay, we will pay reasonable compensation (up to the maximum amount we received from the vendor for that particular part of the travel arrangements). Please note that we are not responsible for any personal injury, illness, damage, death, or loss caused by you during your trip.

Documentation for travel:

The possession of valid travel documents is your responsibility. Before entering the country, your passport must be valid for 6 months. Before our tour departs, it is solely the responsibility of our tour participants to ensure that all passport and visa requirements are satisfied.

Privacy & Confidentiality:

During the booking, we took full responsibility to ensure that appropriate security measures were in place to protect your private information. You can use the information collected to complete your travel arrangements, such as making reservations within hotels or working with any other third-party vendors. The necessary vendor partners will be informed about your dietary restrictions, medical information, or any disabilities before your trip. Whenever you book through us, you give your consent for the information to be passed on to all stakeholders.

Complaints:

Please contact your driver/hotel/guide immediately if you are unhappy with our service, and they will help resolve the issue immediately. If this is not possible, please contact us immediately by phone or whatsapp on : +212 766 548 353.
